Government Medical College, Haldwani (GMC Haldwani), formerly known as Uttarakhand Forest Hospital Trust Medical College, is one of the premier government medical colleges in Uttarakhand. Established in 2003 and permanently recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and Government of India, it has the proud distinction of being the first postgraduate medical college in Uttarakhand.

Located at the foothills of Nainital, GMC Haldwani provides excellence in medical education, training, clinical services, and research. The institute runs MBBS, MD/MS programs and is associated with Dr. Susheela Tiwari Memorial Hospital (600 beds) and Swami Rama Cancer Hospital & Research Center, offering advanced clinical exposure to students.
