Government Medical College Sangareddy (GMC Sangareddy) is one of the eight new government medical colleges announced by the Government of Telangana in June 2021. The college was constructed at a cost of ₹30 crore and was inaugurated on 15 November 2022 by then Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao.

The institute began its first academic session in 2022-23 with an intake of 150 MBBS students. Affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC), GMC Sangareddy is committed to producing skilled and community-oriented medical graduates.
