Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Medical College (NSCBMC), Jabalpur, is the second oldest medical college in Madhya Pradesh and one of the most reputed institutions for medical education and healthcare in Central India. Established in 1955 as Government Medical College, Jabalpur, it was inaugurated by the then Prime Minister of India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Later, it was renamed in honor of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, one of India’s greatest freedom fighters.
Today, NSCBMC is recognized for its MBBS, postgraduate, and superspecialty programs while also offering nursing and paramedical courses for students across the Mahakaushal region.
