Sarojini Naidu Medical College (SNMC), Agra, established in 1939, is one of the oldest and most prestigious government medical colleges in India. Named after Bharat Kokila Smt. Sarojini Naidu, the first Lady Governess of Uttar Pradesh, poetess, and freedom fighter, the institution carries a rich legacy of medical education and service to humanity.

Originally founded as the Agra Medical School in 1854, it was later upgraded into a full-fledged medical college in 1939 and renamed SNMC in 1947. With its motto “Live to Serve”, the college has produced generations of doctors dedicated to healthcare and medical research.
