GMERS Medical College, Vadnagar, is a government medical institution established under the Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society (GMERS), formed by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat.

The foundation stone was laid in 2010, and the college started functioning in 2017, with the first batch of 150 MBBS students. It is affiliated with Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU), Patan, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

The associated teaching hospital, with a capacity of 650 beds, provides multi-specialty healthcare and extensive clinical exposure for students.
