Government Medical College, Kollam, also known as Parippally Medical College, is the first government medical college in Kollam district, Kerala. Established in 2013 as ESIC Medical College under the Employees State Insurance Corporation, the institution was later taken over by the Government of Kerala in 2016. It was officially inaugurated as a government medical college by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on 14 August 2016.
