Established under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY), GMC Doda addresses the regional gap in tertiary healthcare and medical education.

The institution is affiliated with the University of Jammu and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). It offers MBBS courses with 100 annual seats, along with hospital-based clinical training.

To get admission into the MBBS program at Govt. Medical College, Doda, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or an equivalent examination with physics, chemistry, biology/biotechnology, and English as core subjects.
