Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC), Mysuru, formerly known as Mysore Medical College, is one of the oldest medical colleges in India, established in 1924 by Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV. It is the first medical college in Karnataka and the seventh in India. MMC is affiliated to the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
