Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Applicants

According to DGME guidelines, foreign students must fulfil the following conditions to qualify for MBBS/BDS admission in Bangladesh:

Academic Requirements

  1. Must have passed qualifying examinations of ‘O’ and ‘A’ Level (or equivalent) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
  2. Year of O-Level completion must not be before 2022.
  3. A-Level or equivalent must be completed in 2024 or 2025.
  4. Minimum aggregate GPA 7.0, with at least 3.5 in each examination and 3.5 in Biology.
  5. GPAs below 3.5 in any subject will not be accepted.

GPA Calculation Method

  1. Only three subjects — Physics, Chemistry, Biology — considered for GPA conversion.
  2. Applicants should present attested mark sheets from recognized education boards.

Foreign students must complete the entire application online via the official DGME portal.

  • Fill in the application form accurately and upload required documents in PDF/JPEG format.
  • Ensure all academic records are attested by the Ministry of Education and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the respective country.
