Are You Looking For MBBS Admission In Bangladesh Under SAARC Quota (Session 2020-21)

 

How many MBBS seats are reserved for the SAARC Quota Bangladesh government's scholarship program?  

The Directorate General of Health Services of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh has announced the admission of foreign students in Government Medical and Dental Colleges for the academic year 2019-20. This year total 221 seats are reserved for the foreign students, of which 1,12 seats are allocated for SAARC countries, and 109 seats are allocated for non-SAARC countries, under the Bangladesh government's scholarship program. Country-wise allocation of seats is as follows:

ln addition to admission in Government Medical/Dental Colleges, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare will consider applications of foreign students for admission in Private Medical/Dental Colleges in Bangladesh. List of Government and Private Medical and Dental Colleges and availability of seats as received from the Directorate General of Health Services.

Eligibility Criteria of SAARC Quota MBBS Admission in Bangladesh Government Medical Colleges: 

Applications with an aggregate GPA of less than 8.0 for Government Medical College and GPA less than 7.0for Private Medical College will not be considered for admission. Hence, Missions are requested not to forward such applications to the Ministry. The merit list prepared by the Equivalence Committee in Bangladesh will be considered as final. Missions are requested to send the list of applicants by fax/ e-mail in advance of the bag copy. Missions are requested to send the list of applicants in MS-Word format the Ministry by e-mail (for Nepal and India only).
